Red Heart has this great Hexagonal Crochet Afghan that is free. Follow along with this tutorial to begin making your own. I have freshened up the colours for spring and summer and changed the yarn to Red Heart Super Saver. These are really simple. The free pattern is available at www.redheart.com Colours used were White, Turqua, Soft Navy (Substituted), Light Blue and Frosty Green all in Super Saver Jumbo Yarn Line. I don’t see the oceanic blue in this colour line. My yarn had no label so it may be another super saver product. Also, refer to the pattern in the more information for further details on the amounts needed. This tutorial is to show you how to do the hexagon so you can do this afghan.

Question by THE KING: information about navy job please help?
i go to boot camp in July for the united states navy and my job rating is AZ which is aviation maintenance administration man i have been searching the internet for some more information on the job i got i understand it has to do alot with paper work and data logging but i wanna know some personal experience for someone that does this job did this job or knows someone that did this job also where do you get stationed i know it could vary but just some of the places you can be stationed? is it likely on shore or on a aircraft carrier? just more information would be greatly appreciated thank you guys

Best answer:

Answer by George S
Airmen can actually go either shore or ship as their first duty station. It all depends what is available for you after your final training.

Basically, you will go to boot camp, after boot camp you will go to AZ school. After completion or near completion of AZ school you will either be involuntarily assigned a duty station or get to choose. So, as far as your final duty station is concerned, you simply will not know until after boot camp and into AZ school.

As far as what an AZ does I can not answer that for you as I was an ET.

Question by Hailey =]: I need information on the 1860 Enfield Civil War Musketoon Rifle and the 1851 Civil War Navy Revolver.?
I just need little information on those things, you know, important details and stuff.

Oh, and whats the caliber on the
1860 Enfield Civil War Musketoon Rifle?

Best answer:

Answer by alexander m
the rifle is .577 caliber. um not sure exactly what you’re looking for fact wise…
the rifle came with blueing on it, many southern generals let their troops keep it on because it prevented rust
it has a ladder-style rear sight
a good soldier could get out 3 rounds per minute
like all rifled-muskets of the time it has a 2-step hammer. half cock is safety, full cock is ready to shoot. it uses a cap instead of flint to fire, made it much more reliable.
never heard of it called a civil war musketoon rifle, always heard it called a 1860 Enfield Rifled Musket. definately didnt have the words “civil war” in there considering that it came out before the civil war started.
the revolver used caps also, and it was faster to take it apart and throw in a new cylinder than it was to reload an inplace one.

Angels Don’t Play this HAARP, Update – Dr. Nick Begich The United States Navy and Air Force have joined with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, to build a prototype for a ground based “Star Wars” weapon system located in the remote bush country of Alaska. Put simply, the apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; antenna send out signals instead of receiving. HAARP is the test run for a super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything — living and dead. “The deployment of a Navy destroyer in the Sea of Japan will coincide with the US military’s plan to put on alert several ground-based interceptor missiles at Fort Greely, Alaska, by September.” Why does the destroyer ‘coincide’ with the missiles? Because the destroyer does the targeting for the missiles. And why are the missiles there?
